Hello Reader!HAPPY WELLNESS WEDNESDAY to you! 🩵 You may have noticed (or maybe not🫠) I haven't sent out a newsletter in a while. It's been a rough winter - I got injured and my dog died, which hit me really hard. After so many years of exploring together and making me laugh with her mischievous ways, my Akita Kiyoshi ultimately succumbed to late-stage EPI and complications. She made it past 11, which was a big achievement considering all she overcame - from cancer to bloat and EPI. I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the support and love for Kiyoshi and me over the years, and for following along on her journey on social media. And a special thank you to my neighbors, who are proof that New Yorkers are far kinder than the stereotype. The thoughtful gifts, kind words, and shared tears meant more than I can say. If you’ve been struggling this winter too, I’m sending love your way. Sometimes just taking it one day at a time is the best we can do. Small steps like going for a walk or getting in some form of movement can help a lot mentally and physically. With that in mind, here are 9 Bodyweight Exercises to Boost Your Strength with no equipment. Whether you're snowed in or working from home, this guide will help you get in a great full-body workout. If you've also had a break from running or are new to it, these Tips to Start Running will help you ease into a training program. Here’s to healing, movement, and a beautiful spring ahead.🍀 Marnie P.S. In honor of Kiyoshi, I am sharing another rescue pup who is looking for a good home that I had the pleasure of spending the day with, below.👇 Want to reach the awesome, active Runstreet audience? Our newsletter continues to grow rapidly.
